Say his name and he appears.
The TNA World champion Joe Hendry answered Randy Orton’s
open challenge at WrestleMania last night, becoming the
first under-contract TNA star to appear at a WrestleMania.
Fans inside the Allegiant Stadium believed, sang along,
clapped, and swayed their hands as an amused Randy Orton
looked on.
The match itself was rather short, under four minutes, and
Randy Orton got his win via an RKO that came out of nowhere
when Hendry did his signature turnaround pose.
After the match, Orton helped Hendry up and shook his hand,
lifted his hand up to all sides of the ring…and delivered
another RKO. He then did Hendry’s signature turn but added
his pose as well as fans ate it all up.
A smiling Orton then tapped on Hendry, who was still on the
floor selling the RKO.
“I just wrestled Randy Orton at WrestleMania,” Hendry wrote
on X later.
