AEW DYNAMITE: Holiday Bash was broadcast live on TBS from
the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, DC!

Excalibur, “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard, and Tony Schiavone
were the broadcast team for tonight’s event.

It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means!

Renee Paquette was backstage with Jay White and Orange
Cassidy, asking them about Worlds End.

Jay White: “Is our focus on the Death Riders tonight or each
other, or on Worlds End. Make no mistake, Mr. Cassidy. My
focus is on the AEW World Championship but first I have to
make it to Worlds End. So I have to rely on Orange and
Hangman Page because I have no Bang Bang Gang. But I can’t
rely on Hangman because he’s only good for letting people
down.”

Hangman Adam Page interrupted!

Page: “Tonight Jon Moxley is mine!”

TBS Championship Match!
“The CEO” Mercedes Moné (c.) vs. Anna Jay!

Mercedes nailed Anna with the Three Amigos suplex sequence.
Anna dodged a frog splash and followed up with a flipping
neck breaker. Mercedes locked Anna in a straitjacket choke.
Mercedes crunched Anna with a meteora off the middle
turnbuckle for a near fall.

Anna blasted Mercedes with a blockbuster neck breaker. Anna
walloped Mercedes with three kicks in the corner. Anna
flattened Mercedes with a face plant and covered the
champion, but Mercedes reached over to the ropes to break
the hold.

Anna was looking for the Queen Slayer and hooked it on!
Mercedes bit the arm of Anna out of sheer desperation to
escape. Mercedes put Anna in the Statement Maker, but Anna
reversed it with a cradle. Mercedes reversed it back, but
Anna reached the ropes.

Mercedes hit Anna with a sunset bomb in the corner. Mercedes
smashed Anna with the Mone Maker in the center of the ring
and pinned Anna Jay!

Kris Statlander was looking on backstage, watching the
monitor.

Footage played from earlier in the day of FTR back home!

Cash Wheeler: “I don’t disagree with your methods, and we
stopped you Death Riders from poisoning another man. And
that gets us left for dead?”

Dax Harwood: “And that raises a lot of questions for us. Is
there life after wrestling? Doc Sampson said he’s not going
to clear us for the rest of the year. So on January 1st we
will be cleared, and we will fight the Death Riders. And by
the way, we’re not coming alone. Top guys, out!”

Up next: We heard from MJF!

MJF: “I’m no scrooge. For crying out loud, it’s the most
wonderful time of the year. I’d like to talk about a
fundraiser I started. Picture this, there’s a small child
sitting across from you who is starving. Picture that small
child is Adam Cole.

“Guys, right now, if you want to help that small baybay,
scan the QR code you see on your screen so you can buy the
Worlds End pay-per-view on December 28th. And if you buy
that pay-per-view, a part of your purchase will go towards
my foundation to put Adam Cole out of his misery. And you
can thank me later.”

Adam Cole appeared on the big screen.

Cole: “It is Adam Cole versus MJF for that Dynamite Diamond
Ring at Worlds End. And I had a meeting with Tony Khan.
There are two men who are going to be by my side, Matt Taven
and Mike Bennett. You are a dead man, and I will finish this
at Worlds End. Boom! Hey Max, am I kicking your ass yet?”

Cole appeared in the screen and clobbered MJF with a super
kick! MJF retreated before Cole could serve up a Panama
Sunrise!

Jamie Hayter had harsh words for Julia Hart!

Hayter: “Julia, you are a coward. At Collision you finally
decided to show up and you attacked me from behind. That’s a
sneaky classless move. Message sent. I know you’re listening
so here’s my message for you. Fight For the Fallen, I’m
going to serve you a dish best served cold. See you then,
mate.”

A vignette aired for the impending return to AEW of Kenny
Omega!

The Patriarchy—Christian Cage & Nick Wayne (with Mother
Wayne & Kip Sabian)
vs.
HOOK & Katsuyori Shibata!

Nick Wayne and Hook grappled to the mat. Hook avoided a
roundhouse kick. Christian Cage and Shibata tagged in for
their respective teams. Christian ducked a kick. Shibata
shoved Christian as Christian tried for the Kill Switch.

Hook was looking to lock on Red Rum on Nick Wayne, but
Christian pulled Hook’s legs as the ref was distracted. Nick
Wayne and Christian isolated Hook, targeting his injured
arm.

Shibata grabbed a tag and cleaned house on the Patriarchy.
Shibata bludgeoned Nick Wayne with chops and then closed in
with a dropkick. Shibata drove Wayne down with a back heel
trip and then delivered on to Cage. Hook took Christian for
a ride on the floor with a T-bone suplex.

Nick went for Wayne’s World, but Shibata countered with a
sleeper. Mother Wayne distracted the ref while Christian
nailed Shibata with the Kill Switch. Nick Wayne covered
Shibata and stole the pin!

A vignette aired of ROH World Champion Chris Jericho, the
King of New York!

Jericho: “I’ll be damned if I let anyone take my crown!”

A vignette aired for the impending return of Bandido!

AEW Women’s World Champion “The Glamour” Mariah May was
backstage with words for Thunder Rosa!

Mariah May: “How dare you say this women’s division is alive
and well when I’ve eclipsed everyone here just by being me.
So let’s do this Tijuana Street Fight at Worlds End and
bring your father. I’d love to end two generations in one
night.

“Papa Rosa, does being a loser run in the family? I’m not
going to bring my father because I wouldn’t want him to see
what I’m going to do to Thunder Rosa.”

Tony Schiavone was in the ring to interview Ricochet ahead
of his match against Will Ospreay at Collision on Saturday!

Ricochet: “Didn’t my change in demeanor look really good the
last time you saw me in the ring?”

The Hurt Syndicate’s music began to play, and they walked
out to the ring!

Ricochet: “What’s good, guys? MVP, did you see how I beat
the brakes off Komander? Did you see how I handled Brody
King? Tonight, the two guys I have left in the tournament
face each other so you know I’ll keep an eye on that. And on
Saturday Ricochet will see a different side of me.”

MVP: “Do you still have my business card? Let me see it.”

MVP grabbed the business card and tore it up, saying no one
likes a kiss ass. Bobby Lashley ordered Ricochet out of the
ring!

“MVP has rescinded the offer,” said Excalibur.

Continental Classic Blue League Match!
The Hurt Syndicate’s Shelton Benjamin
vs.
LFI’s The Beast Mortos!

MVP joined the broadcast booth for this match.

Mortos blocked a hip toss and wrenched at the ankle of
Shelton. Shelton cracked the Beast Mortos with a knee
strike, knocking Mortos off the top rope and down to the
arena floor.

The Beast Mortos power slammed Benjami for a near fall. The
Beast headbutted Shelton Benjamin. The Beast crashed down
and splashed Shelton from the top turnbuckle. Shelton
retaliated with a running power slam. Mortos had an
adrenaline rush and popped back up, headbutting Benjamin on
the jaw.

Shelton stunned the Beast with a thrust kick. Shelton
launched the Beast with three consecutive German Suplexes!
Shelton rocked the Beast with two knee strikes. Shelton
planted the Beast with the Hurt Fall and pinned Mortos!

“That was huge! Shelton is back in this thing,” said Daddy
Magic.

After the match, the Hurt Syndicate assaulted the Beast
Mortos.

MVP: “Daniel Garcia, this is what you have to look forward
to on Saturday.”
Garcia: “Cut the music! I’m not stupid, I can do the math.
There are three of you and one of me. I think everyone in
D.C. wants to see a fight tonight so let’s do it!”

Mark Briscoe came to help Garcia, and they rushed the ring
despite still being outnumbered. MVP broke his cane on the
back of Mark Briscoe. MVP handed Shelton the TNT title that
belongs to Garcia.

Renee Paquette interviewed Ricochet backstage!

Ricochet: “I don’t know if business is off the table with
the Hurt Syndicate. I’m not going to worry about that. What
I am going to worry about is the Continental Classic because
I’ve already got six points. This Saturday I step into the
ring with Will Ospreay. I came here to shut the world up and
I can beat Will Ospreay. That is why I’m going to have my
eyes on this next match.”

Prince Nana and Swerve Strickland were standing behind
Ricochet.

Swerve: “Turns out you’re still the same little Trevor, a
little follower. That won’t work here in AEW.”

Ricochet: “I know the real Swerve too, and he didn’t win the
Continental Classic last year. So I know it’s going to eat
you up when I do.”

RJ City had a sit down interview with Toni Storm!

Toni Storm introduced herself to RJ. RJ asked Toni
questions, but it seemed like Toni had amnesia. RJ City
seemed perplexed.

Continental Classic Gold League Match!
“The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay vs. Darby Allin!

They were off to a quick start, both men going move for
move, countering one another in a flurry of offense. Ospreay
fired in a knife edged chop. Darby accelerated and blasted
Ospreay with a running cannon ball to the outside! Darby
went for the Coffin Drop but Will rolled out of the ring
sending Darby crashing on the edge of the ring!

Darby came over the top with a stunner to Will. Ospreay
connected with a thrust kick. Ospreay scored with a Hidden
Blade, but Darby drilled Ospreay with a Code Red for a near
fall!

“Fans lost their minds on that one!” said Tony Schiavone.

Darby countered an Os Cutter with a Coffin Drop but Will
kicked out at the two-count! Ospreay planted Darby with a
Styles Clash off the apron and onto the arena floor!

“Darby’s face splatted on the floor!” said Daddy Magic.

Ospreay, on the hunt, connected with an Os Cutter! Darby
countered a Storm Breaker with a Scorpion Death Drop. Darby
nailed Will with a Coffin Drop! Darby pinned Will after a
second Coffin Drop!

“Unbelievable,” said Tony Schiavone.

“What a match!” replied Excalibur.

Trios Match!
The Death Riders—AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, AEW Trios
Champions “The Bastard” PAC & Wheeler Yuta
vs.
“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy, “Switchblade” Jay White,
& “Hangman” Adam Page!

Orange dropkicked Wheeler Yuta. Orange flipped off the ropes
and wiped out Pac and Yuta. Moxley jabbed Orange in the
throat. Orange back body dropped his way out of a pile
driver attempt from Mox.

Hangman tagged in and Mox bailed out of the ring. Page took
down Yuta with a lariat. After arguing with Jay White,
Hangman walked out of the ring and left the match. Moxley
clobbered White with a lariat.

Jay White scored with a lariat on Pac. Jay White caught Mox
with a cutthroat suplex. Orange tagged in and drilled Mox
with a diving DDT! Orange pulped Mox with a second DDT!

Wheeler Yuta blocked the Stun Dog Millionaire. Orange super
plexed Pac back into the ring. Moxley mauled Orange with a
cutter. Hangman Page jumped back into the fray. Wheeler
shoved Orange, inadvertently causing Orange to collide with
Hangman! Hangman blasted Wheeler with the Buckshot Lariat!

Jay White served up the Blade Runner to Pac. Moxley rolled
up Orange and stole the victory as Hangman and Jay White
were arguing!

Page, White, and Orange argued after the match. The Death
Riders surrounded the ring until Orange, Jay, and Page
fought back! Orange cracked Pac with an Orange Punch! Marina
protected Jon Moxley and got him away from the brawling at
ringside!

“Jon Moxley is betting on the three men to be disorganized
at Worlds End,” said Tony Schiavone.
