Posted on 12/14/124 by Bob Magee

This episode of AEW RAMPAGE: Winter Is Coming was broadcast
on TNT from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, MO!

Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard
were the broadcast team for tonight’s event.

It’s Friday and you know what that means! The fastest hour
in professional wrestling!

This…is…Rampage!

“The Complete” Matt Cardona vs. “Bad Apple” Bryan Keith
(with ROH World Champion Chris Jericho)!

ROH World Champion Chris Jericho joined the broadcast booth
for this match.

Cardona shoved Keith to the mat. Cardona cracked Keith with
a clothesline. Keith left the ring, taking himself out of
range, but Cardona slid through the ropes with a double boot
strike.

Cardona rocked Keith with a Russian leg sweep into the
guardrail. Bryan Keith chomped down on Cardona’s head and
then shoved Cardona off the apron. Cardona crashed into the
steel ring steps.

Bryan Keith booted Cardona on the side of the head with a
big kick. Cardona came back with a jaw breaker after Keith
was jaw jacking and taunting Cardona. Keith charged at
Cardona with another boot, knocking Cardona off the apron to
the arena floor.

“He’s ready for you next Friday, Chris Jericho,” said Tony

Toni Storm vs. Harley Cameron!

Toni offered a handshake, but Harley took a side headlock
instead. Toni dropkicked Harley and followed up with a kick
to the midsection. Toni nailed Harley with a snap suplex.

Harley hammered away at Toni, but Toni rallied back with a
back breaker! Toni grounded and pounded Harley, raining down
right hands! Toni hit a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall.

Toni planted Harley with the Sky High. Toni smashed Harley
with the hip attack and followed it up with the Storm Zero
for the 1-2-3!

The Vendetta’s “The Virtuosa” Deonna Purrazzo vs. Shazza
Mckenzie!

Deonna stomped a mudhole in Mckenzie in the corner. Shazza
rolled up Deonna, looking for an upset, but Deonna quickly
escaped. Deonna fired back with a short arm lariat.

Deonna had Shazza tied up in the tree of woe and then
speared Shazza. Deonna power bombed Shazza and then applied
the Fujiwara arm bar, forcing Shazza to tap out!

“Purrazzo is making a statement like always,” said Tony
Schiavone.

Tony Schiavone brought out Don Callis and the Don Callis
Family (Kyle Fletcher, Lance Archer, and Konosuke Takeshita)
ahead of the main event!

Don Callis: “I have something important to say. You know, I
know you’re very shocked by how we conduct our business, but
what business do you think we’re in, Schiavone? I’m in the
money making business, along with the rest of my family.
Kyle Fletcher dominated Will Ospreay and Will, you’ll never
be the same. How does it feel, bruv?

“But wait it gets better. A few days later he did the
impossible. He got in the ring with a man who has been
called the greatest tournament wrestler in history, Okada,
and Fletcher beat Okada. So how does it feel, bitch?”

Kyle Fletcher: “Kansas City, you can boo me as much as you
want. You can cheer for that bum Ospreay, but it changes
absolutely nothing. I have a watch on my wrist that costs
more than the car you drive, and I will be the winner of the
Continental Classic. So tomorrow on Collision, Mark Briscoe,
I hope you bring more than your redneck Kungfu because
winning this tournament is my destiny.”

Callis: “One thing is very obvious to me. The Don Callis
Family are the one-percenters of All Elite Wrestling. There
is no one in the back who is big enough and bad enough to
get in the ring with us!”

Powerhouse Hobbs’ music hit! Hobbs came out with Mark Davis!

Powerhouse Hobbs & Mark Davis
vs.
The Don Callis Family’s AEW International Champion Konosuke
Takeshita & “The MurderHawk Monster” Lance Archer!

Don Callis joined commentary for this match.

Hobbs and Archer traded forearm strikes, neither man backing
down. Hobbs punished Archer with strikes to the head! Davis
tagged in and continued pounding Archer with right hands!
Davis and Hobbs dished out lariats in the corner to Archer.

Hobbs and Davis bulldozed Archer with a big shoulder tackle.
They double suplexed Lance Archer, bringing him down hard!
Takeshita kicked Davis from behind as Davis ran into the
ropes. Takeshita splashed Davis with a senton!

Takeshita nailed Davis with a vertical suplex. Davis rolled
up Takeshita for a near fall. Hobbs grabbed a tag and
delivered two consecutive lariats to Takeshita. “The Alpha”
backed up Hobbs with an elbow strike. Takeshita rocked Hobbs
with a power drive knee strike!

Archer stomped down Davis. Hobbs brought down Takeshita and
Archer with a double powerbomb from the turnbuckles.
Takeshita smashed Hobbs with an elbow strike. Archer choke
slammed Hobbs and covered him but Hobbs kicked out at the
two-count!

Davis pulled Takeshita out of the ring and rammed him into
the barricade. Hobbs power slammed Archer! Hobbs planted
Archer with a spine buster and scored the pinfall victory!

“What a win this was for this team!” said Schiavone.

Takeshita tried to hit Hobbs with a cheap shot from behind,
but Hobbs countered with a spinebuster. Hobbs held up the
International Championship over his head.
