During an appearance on Kayfabe Friends podcast, Hall of
Famer Sting revealed that he signed a multi-year licensing
deal with All Elite Wrestling, keeping him tied to the
promotion for the foreseeable future.

Sting said that the deal is for merchandise and appearances
and does not include any in-ring wrestling. The deal is
similar to what WWE calls the Legends deal.

The former AEW Tag Team champion retired from in-ring
competition earlier this year, winning his final match along
with Darby Allin defeating The Young Bucks. He stayed
undefeated during his whole AEW run which started in
December 2020.

He last appeared on AEW television at All In in Wembley
Stadium, coming to help Darby Allin.
