TNA WRESTLING: “Broken” Matt Hardy makes surprise return at Rebellion

Posted on 4/21/124 by Colin Vassallo

Matt Hardy made his return to TNA Wrestling last night at
Rebellion, coming out in his Broken gimmick to spoil Moose’s
celebration at the end of the pay-per-view.

With Moose victorious over Nic Nemeth, lights inside the
Palms Resort went out and a “lights out” video played on the
big screen. When the lights came back on, Hardy was there in
his full Broken gear, kicked the champion and hit the Twist
of Fate. He then held the TNA World title as cameras faded
to black.

Hardy, who is a free agent after he turned down signing a
new AEW deal, had been teasing a return to WWE. It’s unknown
if he is signed to TNA as no announcement was made.

Matt competed in TNA between 2014 and 2017 and had a quite
successful run in the promotion, winning the Impact World
title and the Tag Team titles twice.
