Opening the show from the Performance Center in Orlando is
new NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez, as she enters the
sound stage after having won the title for a second time.

Perez sarcastically asks if anyone was surprised she won the
title. The live studio audience starts a "you deserve it"
chant, but Perez quickly heeled on them. She shut down the
chant and moved on.

Perez goes on to cut a promo on former champ Lyra Valkyria.
Perez also says there is no one that can take the
championship off her. She says next time she gives up the
title is when she is drafted to Raw or Smackdown.

Out comes Lyra Valkyria to interrupt, because seemingly no
monologue in NXT can go without an interruption. Valkyria
has her arm in a sling, selling from the match last
Saturday.

Valkyria scolds Perez of acting like she is too good for
NXT. Valkyria says the title will stay here, because
Valkyria wants her championship rematch tonight. Perez mocks
Valkyria about not being cleared to wrestle. Suddenly, Tatum
Paxley appears in the crowd with a microphone. Paxley wants
to sub for Valkyria.

Paxley hops the barricade comes to Valkyria's side. Valkyria
tells Paxley that she loves Paxley sticks up for her, and
Valkyria also apologizes to Paxley for what she said on
Saturday. Valkyria said she was angry after her loss, but
she is good now. When Valkyria tells her that she is good,
Paxley asks, "But are you?"

Paxley then turns on Valkyria, as Paxley sends Valkyria
crashing into the metal ring steps. Paxley yells at
Valkyria, "It's on yours anymore!" Referees and officials
come in and check on Valkyria, and Paxley leaves the scene.

Perez smirks and guesses there will be no match tonight.
Before she can exit the ring, Natalya's theme music stops
Perez in her tracks. Natalya storms to the ring saying the
people here want a title match.

Nattie does not like Perez being rude, which stems from an
angle last night on Raw. Nattie goes on to say the NXT title
is one title she has never won. This leads to Nattie
challenging Perez to a title bout tonight. Perez says "hard
pass" as Perez tries to leave.

NXT GM Ava enters, and she gets in the "new era" talking
point that is the new buzzword in WWE. Ava also books Nattie
against Perez in a title match for later tonight. Perez
tries to cheap shot Nattie, but Nattie counters by trying to
apply the sharpshooter. Perez slithers away and flees the
ring.

Kelly Kincaid interviews Nathan Frazier and Axiom, and they
talk about getting one more chance at winning the tag team
titles from Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin. Since it is
there last chance at the titles, they also agree to split up
as a team if they lose tonight.

In a skit, Jacy Jayne interrupts a class at Chase U to
confront Thea Hail. Jayne wants to spill all the tea on why
Chase U as going broke. Jayne tells Hail that when Andre
Chase threw in the towel during her big match months ago,
that Chase had placed a large bet on Hail. Jayne claims
Chase cared more about a "loser" like Hail than his
university. Chase confirms the bet is true, and Hail storms
out of the room.

Izzi Dame and Kiana James defeated Kelani Jordan & Fallon
Henley

James pinned Henley, after Henkey took a bullet for her
partner.

Heat on Jordan, as James & Dame work her over. Builds to a
hot tag, and Henley runs wild. She cleans house, and Henley
does a wicked move where she slingshots herself off the
middle rope into a suplex on James. That led to near fall,
where Dame jumps in to break up the count.

Jordan is saved by Henley, as Henley takes a bullet for
Jordan. Henley is then given a "401k" flatliner from James.
Henley then takes the fall, as James covers her for a
pinfall.

night.

A backstage skit with The D'Angelo Family (minus "The Don")
and the No Quarter Catch Crew sets up a match for later
tonight, after the two factions have a confrontation.

Je'Von Evans defeated Scrypts (with OTM)

Evan pinned Scyrpts in Evans' television debut in NXT. He is
getting a bis push from the beginning, and he has a hot
match here with Scrypts leading the way.

Vic Joseph and Booker T on commentary really put Evans over.
Joseph told some of his backstory of how Evans got into
wrestling after watching it with his grandmother. The name
of Evans' finisher honors his grandmother.

Lots of high spots, but a simple story as Scrypts looks to
ruin Evans' debut. Evans got to shine early on. Scrypts then
cut him off, and Scrypts worked him over.

Evans with a rally and a quick comeback. Evans bounces off
the ropes in his own unique way into a Will Ospreay kick.
Evan then springboards off the top rope into a cutter for a
close near fall.

Evan does a swan dive over the ropes to the floor.
Nevertheless, Evans is cut off in the ring by Scrypts. Evans

Evan then does a double springboard into a crazy flying
corkscrew tornillo. He calls it "Hold It in the Road," which
is a phrase he took from his grandmother.

Ridge Holland wants to apologize to Joe Gacy, which plays
off an angle from Stand & Deliver. Gacy then appears and he
freaks out Holland, so Holland goes to leave. He runs into
the LWO. As Holland storms out of the doorway, Cruz Del Toro
slams his hand in the door. Joaquin Wilde blames Holland. I
would dern near volunteer to have my hand slammed in a door
than watch that wacky skit over again. No one got over.

retain her title

Perez pinned Nattie after outside interference by Lola Vice.

work over Nattie. Comeback by Nattie, and they go back-and-
forth down the stretch.

Perez goes for a crossface, but Nattie escapes. Nattie' then
counters Pop Rocks, and Nattie applies a sharpshooter. Rope
break by Perez, and Perez rolls outside the ring. Nattie'
goes out to roll Perez back inside the ring. As Nattie is
trying to get back in the ring, Lola Vice runs down to
ringside. Vice kicks Nattie from behind. Nattie' is selling
that Perez executes Pop Rocks. Perez then covers Nattie for
a three count.

Machine on Kemp.. Hard-hitting match. Heat on Stacks, and
Crusifino gets to shine. Dempsey gets as the match goes
home, and he is pummeled by The Family just before the
finish.

NXT North American Champion Oba Femi enters for a monologue.
He boasts about his title defense at Stand & Deliver. He
knew it would his genesis to rule over the division. His
victory over two titans like Dijak and Briggs puts Femi on a
mountain no one can climb.

Femi goes on to say he will remain champion for a very long
time. As Femi hold the title belt overhead, the lights in
the sound stage go dark. Viking Raider Ivar gets a full
entrance, even if he is only wearing street clothes.

Ivar compliments Femi for the match last Saturday, saying
three big guys beating the heck out of each other is Ivar's
kind of fight. Femi responds by asking Ivar would he really
came here for besides compliments. Ivar says he was jealous,
because he wanted to be in that fight. Ivar says he is the
man that can take the title from Femi.

Oba responds by saying, "We shall see." Ivar says yes they
will, as he stops Femi from leaving. Femi headbutts Ivar,
and a brawl erupts. Ivar springboards into a flying
crossbody, and Ivar poses with the title belt as Femi sells.

Jaida Parker (with OTM) defeated Brinley Reece (with Malik
Blade & Edris Enofe)

Parker pinned Reece after Parker hit her with a hip attack.
The match itself goes through a commercial break. Parker is
working over Reece as the show comes back from the break.
Reece gets a comeback, but not for long. This was designed
to get Parker over more so then Reece.

Sol Ruca and Lola Vice have words in a locker room skit.
This would seem to set up a match between the two.

Nathan Frazier & Axiom defeated NXT Tag Team Champions Bron
Breakker & Baron Corbin to win the titles.

Frazier pinned Corbin to win the match. It was really good,
and the finish was pretty hot. No time to celebrate, as the
new champions are attacked after the match by the returning
AOP.

The challengers with a parade of dives before a commercial
break. Axiom also does a moonsault, just before the
announcers throw to a split-screen break. Axiom is cut off,
and he is getting pummeled by the Wolf Dogs as the show
returns from the break.

Hot tog to Frazier. Axiom soon tags in when Frazier is
quickly cut off. Axiom does a frog splash, followed by a 450
from Frazier. Axiom goes for a pin, but Corbin makes a save
to break up the count.

Axiom kicks out of another near fall moments later. Corbin
and Breakker cannot believe their eyes. They wrestle on, and
Axiom takes Deep Six. Corbin then lifts Frazier in an
electric chair. Breakker jumps off the top rope with a
Steiner bulldog. Axiom is able to make a save at the last
second, breaking up a cover on Frazier.

Corbin is sent outside, and Frazier tries to follow up with
a tope. Corbin catches Frazier with a guzzle, and Corbin
sends Frazier crashing into the ring steps. Back in the
ring, Axiom counters an End of Days, and Axiom also counters
a spear from Breakker. Really cool spot there.

Melee in the closing moments. Breakker measures for a spear,
but Breakker almost hits Corbin. They are facing each other
when Breakker is booted out of the ring. Golden Ratio on
Corbin, and Axiom tags Frazier. Off the top rope comes
Frazier with a Phoenix Splash. Frazier then covers Corbin
for the deciding pinfall. And new...

As Frazier & Axiom celebrate, they are ambushed by AOP.

Stand & Deliver. Williams in his speech puts Hayes over for
being him.

Williams was basically inspired by Bayley winning a title
and Cody Rhodes finishing his story. Williams pondered what
was next in Trick's own story. Williams says he wants to win
the NXT Championship. Williams calls NXT Champion Ilja
Dragunov, and out comes the champ to confront Williams.

Dragunov talks about being proud of the superstar Williams
has become, and Dragunov puts over Williams' charisma.
Williams says he wants another title shot at Dragunov,

Dragunov puts over Williams for being a leader in a hungry
locker room. However, Dragunov says "no" to another title
shot for Williams. Dragunov says Williams has his chance and
failed in his title shot.

Williams responds by asking what he needs to do in order to
get another title shot. Dragunov then agrees to a title
match in two weeks time at Spring Breakin'. Dragunov adds a
stipulation. If Williams loses, then Williams must leave
NXT. Williams accepts the challenge.

Dragunov and Williams shake hands. Dragunov turns to leave,
and Williams is looking at Dragunov when Williams is
suddenly jumped by Carmelo Hayes. Williams is sent crashing
into Dragunov, and Hayes proceeds to pummel Williams. Hayes
grabs the title belt, and Hayes bends down to deliver a
message to a prone Williams.

Hayes warns Williams that he will not make it to Spring
Breakin', because Hayes will "beat your ass" in a cage match
next Tuesday on NXT. Hayes poses with the title belt as he
stands over Williams. Next week, Hayes and Williams meet in
a cage match.
