AS I SEE IT

As many fans of independent wrestling know, IWA Mid-South Wrestling's Rollin Hard has been going through a very difficult battle with cancer and has accumulated a lot of medical expenses.
Back in March, Rollin' Hard posted news on the recurrence of his cancer on his MySpace, and announced that the cancer had spread to his abdominal wall. This resulted in the removal of a large section of intestines and several organs removed to go along with it in a recent surgery.
He began chemotherapy treatments on April 2. Later he had an experimental surgery which included the implant of some kind of chemotherapy. The cancer is treatable but notcurable, and his estimated life expectancy of 18 months to two years even with the treatments.
His condition had worsened to the point where Rollin Hard was actually put on life support several weeks ago, but has come off the ventilator, and been released from rehabilitation and hospital treatment. After that, he suffered multiple infections.
Within the last week, IWA's mesage board reported that, Rollin Hard is back in the hospital with what is believed to be yet another recurrence of the cancer, given the fact that the chemotherapy treatments after the experimental surgery could not be administered due to his overall physical weakness.
The folks over at CZWfans.com have decided to assist Rollin Hard with his medical expenses, and have set up a PayPal account. Payments will be accepted via Paypal at CZWFansRollsHard@hotmail.com.
This is an awesome way to support a good cause, in keeping with some of my recent columns about people doing good within the wrestling business. Now it's time for fans to help other fans help one of the workers in it.
Fans who would like to send good wishes can do so, via Rollin Hard's MySpace page at: this link.
Until next time...
