More on last week's news about the twin tragedies that affected Full Impact Pro Wrestling promoter Sal Hammoui. An article in last week's St. Petersburg Times explained the details of what I referred to briefly in last week's column.

Tammie Hammoui had just suffered the miscarriage of her unborn son, Joseph, who died in the womb at 21 weeks. Then, as the article outlined, on the night before her passing, Tammie Hammoui and husband Sal relaxed at home, then took a walk in their neighborhood "in the fresh night air". They came home and talked over a million things, with Sal Hammoui telling her "he'd have a million more babies with her".

The next morning, without warning, Tammie Hammoui died at home from a tear in her aorta.

A Scholarship Fund is being set up in Tammie Hammoui's name.

Paypal donations can be sent to Jimthy@gmail.com , (Paypal does take a small fee out of every transaction, since the account is set up a business account. It can also accept credit card payments). Please make the check out to Salem Hamaoui and note as a memo the Tammy Hamaoui Fund.

A snail mail address will be made available in future columns.

In other news relating to wrestling fans giving during the Holidays, thanks to the fans of Combat Zone Wrestling, who donated bags upon bags of toys at their ninth annual CZW Cage of Death show this past Saturday. Philadelphia area fans also donated many toys this past Saturday at the 12th annual United Wrestling Coalition Toys for Tots show over in Pemberton, NJ .

Fans who weren't able to do so this past weekend will be able to donate toys to the campaign at this coming Saturday's Pro Wrestling Unplugged at the ECW Arena (8:00 pm belltime) featuring Sandman, Eddie Kingston, Too Cold Scorpio, and The Blue Meanie.
For information on the show, go to the Pro Wrestling Unplugged website.

UCW presents Headlock on Hunger on December 15th at ZB Falcons in South Bend, IN in a combination concert/wrestling benefit featuring Ring of Honor's Chris Hero for The Food Bank of Northern Indiana. Please bring non-perishable foodstuffs and help UCW "stuff the truck"! Any donations will receive $2 off the ticket price.

Until next time...
