I'm on vacation this week in San Francisco...writing this from an Internet cafe in my hotel.

Kind of sad that a town such as San Francisco with such a proud wrestling history seems so relatively quiet in terms of any independent wrestling...no shows when I was out here. Then again, there's a bar called the Kezar Pub next to the site of the old Kezar Stadium that I was able to watch WWECW's December to Dismember at...a good kind of bar that every neighborhood ought to have. The people in it watching NFL games seemed cut right out of any good Philly sports bar. The games ended (remember only 4:30ish on the West coast), and the bar opened up the back room for the PPV.

Kind of fun watching with a group...I don't do it too often, but watching everyone else's editorial comments on the matches and comparing notes is always cool.

This weekend, there's CZW's annual Cage of Death show...their big show of the year. I'm actually coming home Friday from vacation, so I can be at the show. Here's information on the show.

CZW returns to the ECW Arena on Saturday, December 9 for their top show of the year, Cage of Death 8: No Turning Back with an approximate 8:00 pm starting time (doors open 7:30 pm).

Tickets

CZW Tickets are: Front row SOLD OUT/second row SOLD OUT/third row SOLD OUT/$30 fourth-fifth row/$25 General Admission.

Toys for Tots

CZW will again this year have a Toys for Tots collection at Cage of Death. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy, so that these Christmas gifts can be distributed to needy children in the Philadelphia area.

In the announcement, he discloses that those bringing an unwrapped toy will be entered into a contest to win:

First prize: Two front row tickets to the January CZW house show
